Arizona Sober Living, Aftercare & Alumni Program
Staying in touch with the people who helped on your personal road to recovery is an essential part of our program. We know how challenging the transition can be when leaving the sanctuary of our doors and venturing out to further experience a sober life, because many of us have been where you are right now. To help protect the investment you’ve already made in healthier living, we’ve come up with a reliable and integrated aftercare and alumni program that supports you and your commitment to sobriety.
Graduating the Program and Living It One Day at a Time
Whether you’ve been with us 30, 60, 90 days or more, there’s excitement in knowing you’re ready to reach the next plateau in our addiction treatment program towards sustained recovery. Because you’ve been given the emotional tools essential to staying on track, you’re ready to continue the journey on your own, but never alone. We are always just a phone call, email or text away. In addition, we hope you’ll stay in touch and socialize during a 12-step support meeting or recreational getaway – both part of our comprehensive aftercare program.
Why Keeping Current with Industry Trends Helps Your Recovery
Through our Medical Detox, Residential Inpatient or Intensive Outpatient program, you’ve grown accustomed to recommended nutritional practices, holistic methodologies and motivational thought processes that support our collective cause. As new research, case studies and behavioral health guidelines update, we’ll pass that information on to you, keeping the recovery process fresh and engaging.
Arizona Addiction Recovery Gives You What You Need to Succeed
Every client that comes to us has a different story. You come from different places and varied backgrounds but all with the common denominator – addiction and the desire to overcome it, for good. Here, you’ll learn the tools needed to keep you inspired, even when you hit a rough patch.
Our licensed doctors, therapists, counselors and mindfulness teachers lead by example, with emotional intelligence and compassion. When it’s time to move on and go back to your life (without active addiction) going home with your newly acquired set of life skills is something to look forward to. But for some, with family members or partners that enable addictive behaviors, sober living transitions may have better outcomes if set up away from home.
Sober Living Support Includes:
- Creation of individualized, sober living transition plan
- Education recommendations
- Career counseling
- Family therapy
- Relationship-building exercises
- Personal empowerment
Trusted, Referral Housing Accommodations Available
Before graduating our program, you’ll meet with our transition counselors who will answer your questions, alleviate your concerns and help you coordinate your next steps to successfully start life after drug or alcohol treatment. Because we have clients from Arizona, across the United States, Canada and Europe, our outreach goes beyond our borders to find the best place to continue your healing and enjoy this new way of life.
It’s Easy to Ignore the Relapse Triggers, We’re Here to Help
As you reenter daily life to include school, work and coexisting with other people, stress can come into play. While you have been given the resources to get through it, we know there may be moments that seem more challenging than anticipated, putting you at risk for relapse.
Please know that our support doesn’t end the moment you leave our program. In fact, we’re hoping you come back and visit often as a proud member of the Arizona Addiction Recovery Center alumni, to share your stories and inspire others.
